ANYTIME day or night (pregnant ladies always awake at night!) we have someone ready to help with ANYTHING on your mind, no question is too big/small and we have answers to allsorts. Otherwise you can contact us (in the night as well) for a chat if you feel miserable or anxious. If you are based in a country other than UK you have a home contact available despite differences in timezones. We provide Gift vouchers for the mother to be to spend however she would like - we can book alternative therapies or pamper days on her behalf if no antenatal/postnatal care required.
Vouchers available are £20, £25, £50 or £550 denominations and will be held as a running account balance to be “cashed in”. Ideal for a baby shower, Mothers day, birthday or Christmas gift when chocs have got boring!! Gift vouchers to print off will be mailed within 24hrs of cleared payment.

Will help with hospital, natural, home, water birth etc. The visits are relaxed, friendly with down to earth, easy to understand information on all (including the embarassing!) aspects of labour, birth and postnatal life. We have the only Doula UK birth Doula in the Teesside region. Will willingly travel outside of immediate area (mileage rate applies above 40 miles round trip). As a trainee the Doula's rate is still very low. Can attend hospital or home birth and help with establishing breastfeeding if required. We have contacts with independant midwives and the NHS maternity services.
A Doula is a birth partner who provides continuous emotional and practical support for Mum (and just as importantly Dad) through labour and birth however long the process takes. We are on call from 2 weeks before due date. Research shows a Doula in attendance often shortens the length of labour and reduces the need for, pain relief, intervention and caesarians (taken from Doula UK website). We also offer Postnatal Doula service - one visit to ensure new family settled and to help in ANY way to provide relief. **FULLY BOOKED FOR 2010 SORRY**

Everything as per previous packages but that much extra - this is our "Gold" standard. Longer antenatal sessions, 24 hour personal telephone as well as text and e-mail support, two full days of Postnatal Doula care and extra treats and gifts for Mum before and after.
Antenatal visits - priority given to Doula Plus bookings on dates and times required. Will also accompany Mother on antenatal midwife & hospital visits if required at no extra charge.
Birth attendance so you have someone you know and who knows you and your concerns with you throughout the whole labour be it at home or in hospital through the midwife shift changes etc. Priority in case two clients go into labour in the same timeframe. A personal record of the birth will be taken & written up so the family can have a permanent momento of the big occasion.
Postnatal visits of two full days to help with anything from household chores, meal preparation, minding baby for mum to have a shower or running errands – this is a big help to keep stress levels down at a time when mums are susceptible to Post Natal Depression. These days can be taken as two whole days or as a few hours each day over more days or over weeks - however is best for the family.
