Why antenatal care?
Pregnancy can be an extremely exciting time in your life but it can also bring anxiety, stress and confusion. You will be experiencing totally new things and find yourself in situations where you have no idea what to do, particularly when baby arrives and you can be expected to instinctively know how to deal with situations. If you receive good, thorough antenatal care then you can be more prepared and confident in new situations.
Once you are pregnant nature takes its course and to some degree you will have a 'mothering instinct' but the changes that lie ahead, not only to your body but to your lives, can be challenging. As things rapidly change, you look for answers to endless questions and wonder whether what you are doing is the right thing. If you don't have the information you need to support you and those around you through these changes, you can easily become stressed and anxious Visit this research page.
Antenatal care is a vital part of pregnancy to help you understand the changes that are about to take place and gain information about how to adapt and cope so that any stress can be minimised.
You will receive antenatal care through your NHS services where your midwife will take you through the basics of pregnancy and birth, however if you want to ensure that you are fully prepared and receive information that is tailored to your circumstances then private antenatal care is definitely something that you should consider.
There are two options of antenatal care with Bump Buddies so you have a choice to suit your needs.

1To1 Home Antenatal Visits - Bump Buds
1To1 Home Antenatal - Bump Buds Visits - £205
If you prefer a more personal antenatal experience, then 1:1 antenatal care visits offer an alternative to group workshops.
1 to1 visits take place in your own home and offer mums-to-be, their partners, or even family members or friends, an opportunity to learn what to expect from pregnancy and receive a much more tailored package of antenatal care. Although the group workshops are tailored to the group's needs there is a limit to how personal this can be due to the collective nature of the group. With 1 to 1 antenatal care you have the privacy to ask any questions you like and can choose to have more or less detail on different aspects of the antenatal programme.
